Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup cooking sherry
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. ginger
1-2 lbs. venison back straps
1 lb. bacon
toothpicks
Stir together soy sauce, cooking sherry, garlic powder, onion powder and ginger in a bowl with a sealable lid.
Place back straps in marinade and allow to sit in refrigerator for at least one hour. Cut into 1/2" thick steaks,
cutting against the grain making round, disc shaped steaks. Wrap strip of bacon around each steak, securing
bacon with toothpick, and grill until meat is cooked to desired doneness.
